"This was my second time hiring the crew within a 3 year period. They have gotten pricier over time but still economical compared to the other outrageously priced companies. Sean and crew showed up promptly. My move took 7 hours and 2 trips instead of the anticipated one trip 4 hours. They completed the job without any complaints and a skip in their steps. However if you need to move regular furniture within the city they will do an amazing job. I highly recommend."
Appliances are where DIY moves go wrong: a tipped compressor, a torn vinyl floor, a kinked water line behind the fridge. Our movers bring a stair-rated appliance dolly and floor runners to every job, whether the fridge rides with your full household move or we pick it up alone.
Single-Appliance Pricing
| Appliance | Your prep | Add-on price |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator | Defrost 24 h, empty, shelves taped | $95–$140 |
| Washer & dryer | Hoses off, drum locks in | $80–$120 / pair |
| Electric range | Unplugged, racks out | $60–$95 |
| Chest freezer | Defrosted and dry | $60–$95 |
Standalone pickups bill against the standard $165/hr with a two-hour weekday minimum. Inside a household move, appliances ride at no extra charge.
What the Crew Brings
- Stair-rated dolly with strap, not a borrowed hand truck.
- Floor runners at both addresses, thresholds padded.
- Doors strapped shut, cords and hoses bagged and taped to the unit.
- Fridge transported upright and left to settle before you plug it in.
Straight answer: we don’t disconnect gas lines or hard-plumbed water. A licensed plumber does that the day before, and we handle everything after. Gas shutoffs are not a mover’s job in California.
