"This was my second time hiring the crew within a 3 year period. They have gotten pricier over time but still economical compared to the other outrageously priced companies. Sean and crew showed up promptly. My move took 7 hours and 2 trips instead of the anticipated one trip 4 hours. They completed the job without any complaints and a skip in their steps. However if you need to move regular furniture within the city they will do an amazing job. I highly recommend."
Packing is half the move, and the half most people run out of time for. Our packing crew usually comes the day before your local move, works kitchen-first, and leaves you one functioning coffee station for the morning. Every carton is labeled by room and contents, so unpacking takes days, not months.
The Boxes We Bring
| Box | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Dish pack (double-wall) | Plates, glasses, pantry jars |
| Book box | Books, tools, anything dense |
| Wardrobe | Closets stay on hangers |
| TV / picture box | Screens and framed art up to 60 in |
How the Packing Day Runs
- Kitchen first, garage last, essentials box packed last and opened first.
- Fragile pieces double-wrapped and marked top-load.
- Unpacking puts items on counters and shelves, not just boxes in rooms.
- All paper and wrap comes back on our truck when we’re done.
What We Won’t Pack, and Why
- Paint, solvents, and propane: hazmat rules keep them off the truck.
- Perishable food: it spoils in a warm box by noon.
- Plants on long-distance runs: agriculture rules between states.
- Documents, jewelry, and medications: those ride with you, always.
A two-bedroom pack usually takes a two-person crew 3–4 hours with materials included in the written quote. Send the room count through the quote form and the office prices it the same hour.
